Amy and Rui Peng's Military Wedding at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre

What a day it was for Amy and Rui Peng on the day of their wedding at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre – this was one of those days where I had way too much fun documenting the day for the bride and groom. They indeed had a large group of friends in the morning joining them for a lively gatecrash session which was so fun to watch (and photograph!), it felt as if all of their bridemaids and groomsmen had been good friends for a long time. As part of traditional Chinese culture, they were all good sports that helped Rui Peng get through the gatecrash ceremony before he could meet Amy at her family's home but not forgetting to get through the games with a lot of fun along the way.

It's easy to see why Amy and RP had a large circle of friends and supporters of their journey – they bring the party with them wherever they are. It wasn't my first time photographing at the Wallich Ballroom at the Sofitel Singapore City Centre, but I remember the ballroom feeling somewhat fulller that evening from the love and laughter for the celebration of Amy and RP. Be it the void deck and playground area while having to eat wasabi crackers as brothers and shedding tears from its spice kick, or even in the bridal car en route to Sofitel where Amy and RP were rehearsing to the song they were going to sing for their second march-in sequence, there's always bound to be laughter and good memories made. And not fogetting the military wedding march-in, where the newlywed couple entered the ballroom under an archway formed by sword bearers.

Always down to celebrate their love and family and their friends around them, here's to a lifetime of happiness and many adventures to the happy newlywed couple, Amy and RP ♡
