Mariel and Yong's Wedding Celebration at the Glasshouse

When I met Mariel and Yong over a video call, I knew they were gonna be a bunch of fun people to be with and photograph one of their biggest days for at the ever elegant Glasshouse at Andaz Hotel Singapore. Both being animal lovers, they had their solemnisation ceremony at the Singapore Zoo! – which has also landed high on my shoot wishlist since (!!). I loved that they were excited to have their loved ones be part and join their celebration as a newlywed couple. As December weddings go, it was truly a season of giving. This day felt especially intimate and meaningful because of how generously M & Y showed up for the people around them, and the people around them that had their backs. It was a day of giving care, love and time and their generosity in being in the moment with all of their loved ones. A special shoutout to Mariel’s parents that practiced the guitar & keyboard to play for their wedding day – that kind of generosity can’t be measured and it was truly a purest extension of their love to celebrate the newlywed.
